Player Index & Account Level
Player XP is separate from Brainrot EXP. The index is the fastest early account level source: every new species you capture registers in the dex and pushes Player level, which unlocks Rot Box tiers at the Rot Center. Brainrot EXP only levels the creature you used in fight.
First-Catch Player XP Table
| Rarity | Player XP (new index entry) |
|---|---|
| Common | +50 |
| Uncommon | +75 |
| Rare | +100 |
| Epic | +150 |
Capture Achievement Stars
Repeat catches on the same species feed achievement stars after the dex entry exists:
- Common / Uncommon — 5 catches, then 10
- Rare — 4 catches, then 8
- Epic — 3 catches, then 6
Run new species and star thresholds in one Grass session before hopping to Ice—details also on Coins & EXP.
Index Route Checklist
- Claim a Shield+Bomb starter—starter guide.
- Clear visible Grass commons/uncommons with cheap cubes.
- Finish secret-key routes so late-half spawns appear.
- Enter Ice Zone only with Snowbox stock; index Ice commons before Epic tunnel vision.
- Cross-check missing names on the full Brainrot list.
Missing a listed species usually means a locked route half—not a broken spawn. Keys first, then blame RNG.
